I'm working on a new 3D model for myself as well as trying to learn modeling for VRchat world creation. Afterwards, I may work on other non-2d art for a while. If there is a longer wait for artwork, this is why. Hope you are taking care of yourself.

Main hard drive for my computer broke 2 days ago. Since I have backups most of my stuff was saved except for the last 3 artworks I posted as well as the thing I was still drawing.

I have a new one, and just have to start it from scratch again. If there is a slightly longer than usual wait for the next drawing, that is why.

My last news post said I was gonna try my hand at creating comics of some kind. That hasn't really panned out as I've been busy with work. I still want to show the story I have in mind, but I want to be able to set time aside to actually plan it out and make it decent at least. I've realized putting aside that time to think would still be work of some kind, and I know I shouldn't be working as much as I already am, so adding more work of any kind doesn't seem like the grandest idea in the long term. I'll maybe try making more artwork that shows a story but that's about it. Hope to still entertain those who come by my account, and I hope you are well.

This year I didn't draw nearly as much as I was planning on, but I'm still proud of what I did. Focused on improving on drawing backgrounds and it shows! Lot of my artwork this year has had better backgrounds than previous years.

As for the next year, I think what I want to work on more is comics, as I do eventually want to tell a story with all these characters I've designed. For those reading, thanks for taking time to do that and I hope to entertain those who stick around. Take care, stay hydrated, and keep cool. 😎

Stay hydrated

One of the main problems I have at the moment is figuring out what exactly I want to draw. I still would like to draw my OCs but I want to draw them actually doing something instead of just standing/sitting in place. What I plan to (try) to do is explore different mediums and other ways to present my characters. 2 examples that I know I definitely want to try are making something through 3D modeling and making short comics to give my characters backstory and personality. Trying these will most certainly slow down my already snail-pace of putting out art so for anyone who is wondering I hope you understand why.

Something I also want to keep doing is taking part of community events like the secret santa event that I participated in. It was the only one I've done so far but I look forward to any other newgrounds events that take place.

My version of inktober that I started as of last year is to draw a different OC everyday for the whole month. I won't upload the individual drawings to newgrounds but I will upload the pages that I've filled out.
